Police believe a spate of vandalism attacks on cars in a Northamptonshire village may be down to someone who is angry at people parking on public roads.

A number of vehicles have been damaged in Holcot since December after they have been parked in roads in the village, particularly in Back Lane, Sunningdale and Sywell Road.

PC Joey Werdekker from Daventry’s local response team said: “Some residents in Holcot are finding that if they park their cars on a public road they return to find someone has come along and scratched it overnight.
