Pubs and coffee shops desperate for good weather were hit with another blow on Saturday as heavy rain and strong winds swept across the town.
With customers still only allowed to sit outside as part of the easing of lockdown restrictions in England, the weather made for a quiet day in the town centre.
Although it didn't stop a brave few with people pictured enjoying hot drinks outside Starbucks and Costa, while two customers enjoyed pints at St Giles Ale House.
Next Monday will see pubs, restaurants, cafes allowed to open inside for the first time since December subject to the rule of six or two households.
