A team of police officers had a busy shift over the weekend as four suspected drink drivers were arrested in Northamptonshire in one night.
Overnight from Saturday (July 15) to Sunday (July 16) the Roads Policing Team for Northamptonshire Police made four arrested in Northampton and Daventry on suspicion of offences relating to drink driving.

Hide AdAll four have since been charged and are due to appear before Northampton Magistrates’ Court in the coming weeks.
The four arrested and charged are:
- Lanceby Majaj, aged 34, of Wellingborough Road was stopped driving a green Honda Jazz by police officers in Billing Brook Road, Northampton, shortly before 1.30am on Sunday, July 16, due to the manner of his driving. He was arrested and subsequently charged with failing to provide a specimen for analysis, driving with no licence or insurance. The suspected drink driver has been bailed to appear Northampton Magistrates Court on July 31.
- Marius Davidoni, aged 49, of Camrose Road, Northampton was due to appear before Northampton Magistrates Court today (Monday, July 17), charged with driving a motor vehicle when alcohol level above the limit. He was arrested shortly after 7pm on Saturday, July 15, after being stopped driving a black BMW 1 Series in Brookfield Road, Northampton.
- Penjamini Yabakivou Nadone, aged 31, of Pershore Drive in Doncaster, was charged with driving a motor vehicle when alcohol level above the limit. He was arrested shortly after 10pm on Friday, July 15, after being stopped driving a blue Vauxhall Insignia in Carousel Way, Northampton. He has been bailed to appear Northampton Magistrates Court on July 31.
- Vitali Alakhverdian, aged 36, of Hawkins Close, Daventry, was charged with failing to provide a specimen – person in charge of a vehicle. He was arrested in Market Square, Daventry, shortly after 2am on Sunday, July 16. He has been bailed to appear Northampton Magistrates Court on July 31.
