Girl cyclist, aged 8, airlifted to hospital after car accident in Northampton
An eight-year-old girl was injured in a road traffic collision in Northampton.
The accident happened just before 4pm yesterday when a red Chrysler Ypsilon travelling south along Great Billing Way towards Rectory Farm Road was in collision with the victim, who was on bicycle.
As a result she sustained serious injuries and was airlifted to the Birmingham Children’s Hospital.

Hide AdNorthamptonshire Police said she is in a stable condition and her injuries are not thought to be life changing.
