Housing developers pledge £400,000 to Northampton as work starts on 41 new homes
Work on 41 new homes in Northampton's Eastern District has started and developers have pledged £400,000 to community services.
The company behind the scheme in the Ecton Brook area says the money will go to local causes, including the installation of children's play equipment as well as funding primary and secondary education.
This funding forms part of the developer’s commitments to the local area under Section 106 of the Town and Country Planning Act.
