Man suffers multiple fractures and head injury after A43 crash between Northampton and Kettering
Emergency services were called to the incident involving two cars just before 7.15am yesterday (Sunday).
Magpas doctor Dave Leverton and paramedic Simon Standen arrived at the scene in their rapid response car and assessed the 30-year-old man.
He had sustained multiple fractures and a head injury.

Hide AdThe man was sedated and anaesthetised at the scene before the team accompanied him by land ambulance to University Hospital Coventry.
The patient was in a serious but stable condition on arrival.
Four occupants of the other vehicle sustained minor injuries.
A police spokesman said: “A man sustained a serious head injury during a collision on the A43 near to the Hardwick turn, early on Sunday morning.

Hide Ad“The 30-year-old was driving a silver Renault Scenic on the northbound carriageway when it was in collision with a black Ford Galaxy travelling in the opposite direction.
“The Renault driver was taken to University Hospital Coventry with a serious head injury while the 71-year-old man driving the Ford was taken to Northampton General Hospital with minor injuries.”
EMAS Ambulance Service also attended the incident, which led to a section of the road being closed off for several hours while the scene was cleared.
Police would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident or who may have any information about it.
