'Silver' Stand Up of the Year award goes to Northampton man
Pete Teckman, 55, won the Silver Stand Up of the Year 2017 at the Leicester Comedy Festival's annual competition.
Twenty silverback comedians aged 55 - 81 were shortlisted to perform and eight comedians took to the stage to compete for the title.

Hide AdMr Teckman, who performed his first full stand-up show 'Never Too Late' at the Leicester Comedy Festival 2016 said: “It's just really nice that there's something there for older acts to have a go at. I think it's a great competition."
The contestants each performed their 5-minute sets in front of the crowd and a judging panel made of BBC radio presenter Monica Winfield, Martyn Allison from Big Difference Company and Louise Grainger from Equity union.
The annual event is supported by Jasper Carrot, Pam Ayres, Arthur Smith and Sir Bruce Forsyth.
