SYL Blacks U8s have not only been having success on the pitch they also recently just secured a new sponsorship deal from Guy Loveland the director of S & D Paving. The Club SYL Northants had their first full season as a club with lots of success, the SYL Blacks certainly made a name for themselves by halfway through the first season moving up an age group to seek more challenging games.

After speaking with Guy Loveland the director of S & D Paving he agreed to a huge £2,500 sponsorship deal for the U8s Grassroots team after hearing of the success these boys have had in just a season of grassroots football.

The sponsorship money went on all the below for the team players/coaches which is such an amazing gesture and hopefully will encourage other successful businesses owners to get behind more grassroots teams like them and encourage kids to play and feel good on the pitch in nice kits it can make all the difference and breaths confidence into the kids when playing as well as looking the part, having fun and enjoying their football, why should kids not have the chance to be kitted up just like their hero's on tv they watch each week at professional football clubs and often look up to and dream to be like one day.

The kit they all received was all branded with the iconic SYL Ram logo, S & D Paving logo as well as personalised to squad numbering all done to a high standard by John Henry Sports of Northampton.

This is a really special SYL team and have had an amazing journey in their first season with some big achievement's including a total of 7 trophies from tournaments, playing at 7 academies all around the midlands at a high level, Clubs such as Leicester City often invite the SYL Blacks up to play their academy sides which is always a great experience for the players and parents.

With three of the boys already being offered pre contracts for next season from Leicester City and Peterborough Utd, and most of the team training with academy development centres I feel they all really deserve some recognition for all their hard work and outstanding achievements in such a sort time in grassroots football this sponsorship from S & D Paving is exactly what they deserve, and the boys cannot thank them enough they absolutely all love their new kits and say the feel like real professional players when wearing it.
