Clay shooting, birds of prey displays and archery are some of the countryside events taking place at the game fair at Rockingham Castle this weekend.
Country enthusiasts and families are expected to turn out to see sideshows including fly casting and ferrets.

There will be a gundog scurry, lurcher and terrier racing and an 'enter on the day' dog agility course.

Marquees will hold stands incl
uding antiques, food and crafts and there will be a beer tent and many trade stands.

Rockingham Castle owner James Saunders Watson said "The combination of attractions cover country activities ranging from fishing demonstrations to shooting, right to the other end of the spectrum with the adrenalin rush of the motorbike and quad bike display team and jousting in the arena.

"It all makes for a great weekend."

The main arena will feature the Knights of the Damned medieval jousting display with astonishing horsemanship.

The show runs from 10am to 5pm each day. Entrance is £7 for adults, £3 for senior citizens and children and £20 for a 'car full.' For further information visit www.selbygamefair.co.uk.
